What it is

Dermal fillers, often referred to as injectable implants, soft tissue fillers, or wrinkle fillers, are medical device implants approved by the FDA for use in helping to create a smoother and/or fuller appearance in the face. They can be used to treat nasolabial folds, cheeks, and lips and for increasing the volume of the back of the hand.

These fillers are injected directly into the skin to help fill in facial wrinkles, restoring a smoother appearance. Most of these wrinkle fillers are temporary because they are eventually absorbed by the body.

We take great pride in providing top-of-the-line dermal fillers from esteemed brands such as Juvederm®, The RHA® Collection, and Restylane®. We also offer exceptional bio-stimulators, including Sculptra®, Radiesse®, and Bellafill®. Our range of products is carefully selected to ensure the highest quality and effectiveness for our valuable clients.

Juvéderm® Voluma® XC

As we age, we tend to lose some of the natural fullness in our cheeks. Juvéderm Voluma XC brings back the volume where it’s needed most. This fabulous gel is injected into the cheek area, lifting the skin and restoring that youthful plumpness we all love.

Juvéderm Voluma XC contains a smooth, colorless hyaluronic acid (HA) gel that also includes a small quantity of local anesthetic (lidocaine) to ensure your comfort during the treatment. It’s also the first and only FDA-approved non-surgical option to instantly correct age-related volume loss in the cheek area for those aged 21 and older.

Juvéderm® Vollure® XC

Juvéderm Vollure XC is an injectable hyaluronic acid dermal filler that has been expertly designed to soften moderate to severe facial lines and wrinkles. It provides a subtle yet effective lift and adds an enduring smoothness to your skin.

The hyaluronic acid in the filler works by holding in water at the injection site and acting as a cushioning agent. It adds temporary volume and a smoother appearance to the skin, giving your face a softer, more youthful look. It’s also the first and only hyaluronic acid filler FDA-approved to treat facial wrinkles and folds with results that can last up to 18 months.

Juvéderm Ultra Plus XC is also an injectable hyaluronic acid dermal filler. It’s designed to target those pesky facial wrinkles and folds, particularly around the nose and mouth. When injected into the skin, Juvéderm Ultra Plus XC works by adding volume to smooth these lines and folds, helping to give your face a softer, more youthful appearance. Juvéderm Ultra Plus XC is also formulated with lidocaine – a common local anesthetic – to improve comfort during treatment.

The RHA Collection

The RHA Collection includes RHA Redensity™, RHA® 2, RHA® 3, and RHA® 4. Each product in the collection has been designed to meet specific needs. Whether you’re looking to correct moderate to severe dynamic perioral rhytids or treat deeper lines and folds, there’s a solution for you in The RHA® Collection.

The RHA® Collection is composed of resilient HA fillers. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the body that helps keep your skin hydrated and voluminous. These fillers are clear, colorless, injectable gels that work by adding volume to the facial tissue, effectively correcting facial wrinkles and folds.

Restylane

Restylane is not just any filler. It is a range of products that are designed to act like your body’s own naturally produced hyaluronic acid. These gels add volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds or laugh lines), and enhance the fullness of your lips.

When Restylane is injected, it works instantly to add volume and smooth away wrinkles by literally filling them in. Because it works with your body’s own hyaluronic acid, Restylane integrates seamlessly into your skin for results that look and feel incredibly natural. Restylane also helps maintain skin hydration and contributes to better skin texture and overall health.

Sculptra

Sculptra is not just another filler. It’s an injectable cosmetic dermal filler made of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a synthetic polymer that has been used safely in the human body for decades. This product stands out because it works differently from traditional fillers. Instead of simply filling in lines and wrinkles, Sculptra helps stimulate your skin’s own natural collagen production to restore its inner structure and increase facial volume that has been lost due to aging.

When injected, Sculptra starts working deep within the skin to stimulate collagen growth, gradually helping to restore facial volume and smooth out wrinkles and folds. Over time, this leads to a more youthful-looking appearance that can last more than two years. Sculptra has been clinically approved to treat smile lines and other wrinkles around the nose, making it an excellent choice if you’re looking to rejuvenate these areas.

Radiesse

Radiesse is a unique dermal filler that does more than just temporarily fill in facial lines and wrinkles. Radiesse is composed of Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in an aqueous gel carrier. This isn’t just any filler—it’s a collagen stimulator.

When Radiesse is injected, it provides immediate volume and correction. But here’s where it really shines: over time, it continues to work by stimulating your body to produce natural collagen. As your body metabolizes the CaHA microspheres, it leaves only your natural collagen behind.

Bellafill

Bellafill is a smooth, collagen-based dermal filler that contains polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) microspheres. Unlike other fillers that are absorbed and require frequent touch-ups, Bellafill creates a lasting improvement in your skin. Its dual-acting formula provides immediate volume and lift for noticeable wrinkle correction right away, and it continues to work over time.

When Bellafill is injected, the collagen immediately adds volume to smooth away facial wrinkles known as smile lines. The PMMA microspheres create a matrix that supports your skin’s natural collagen production for lasting improvement. This is why Bellafill offers a unique, long-term solution to wrinkles and acne scars.

Absolutely! When administered by a trained professional, dermal fillers have a very good safety track record. Like any procedure, there can be side effects, but these are generally minor and temporary.

This depends on the type of filler used and the area treated. Some fillers can last 6-12 months, while others can last up to 2 years or more. We can provide you with more specific information based on your individual needs during your consultation.

Most patients find that the injections cause only mild discomfort. Many dermal fillers contain a pre-mixed local anesthetic for added comfort during and after your procedure.

Some dermal fillers are temporary and will be naturally absorbed by your body over time. However, if you’re not thrilled with your results, certain types of fillers can be dissolved quickly.
